Must have an
Active Secret Security Clearance Work Schedule:
4/10A-1st Shift, Minimum 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required Safety shoes are required for this position Position Overview Seeking a skilled Electronics Fabrication Technician to support the assembly and fabrication of circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and cabinet-level systems. This role involves hands-on fabrication work, including soldering, connector pinning, and mechanical assembly, with the opportunity to contribute both independently and as part of a collaborative team. The selected candidate will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to deliver high-quality assemblies for production and testing environments. Key Responsibilities Perform component placement and soldering on circuit cards and sub-assemblies Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and installation of mounting hardware Assemble lower-level components into single or multi-bay cabinet systems Interpret and build from blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, draftsmen, procurement, and quality teams Identify and communicate design or process issues clearly to engineering and management Utilize software tools and Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting Basic Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in fabrication environments such as: Cable and wire harness assembly, SMT board fabrication, or Maintenance of military or aerospace systems Prior certification in soldering and harness assembly to MIL-STD requirements Experience fabricating electrical equipment using technical drawings and schematics Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical issues Proficiency with basic software tools and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Desired Qualifications Soldering certifications such as J-STD-001 and/or
IPC-7711/IPC-7721
Experience supporting procurement or acquisition of test materials Familiarity with building and interpreting Aerospace and defense industry test equipment engineering documentation Experience working in regulated aerospace or defense environments BI03
Job Types:

$40.00 - $51.39 per hour
