Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to play a pivotal role in supporting fiber optics assembly, testing, and splicing. You will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring that every component meets the high-performance standards required for energy and industrial applications. This hands-on position is crucial in bridging the gap between design intent and production quality, directly impacting the reliability of installations in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fiber optics assembly and splicing to ensure quality performance standards are met for various applications. Perform rigorous testing on completed installations, providing detailed reports on performance and quality metrics. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide the assembly process and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to identify process improvements and enhance overall efficiency in fiber optic assemblies.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience with fiber optic splicing in a professional setting, ensuring precision and reliability. Hands-on testing experience with fiber optics, equipped with knowledge of various testing methodologies. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to fiber optic systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and how they can be applied to enhance production processes.
