Job Description

Full-Time Currently seeking entry level Electronic Technician to join our team at Bush Intercontinental Airport. This will be a full-time, permanent position. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance on the below ground transit systems.
Job Description:
  • Operate and maintain transit system
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Perform inspections
  • Perform repairs and adjustments
  • Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting
Responsibilities:
  • Performs first line troubleshooting, train coordination, preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles and wayside equipment
  • Makes recommendations for hardware and procedural changes that become evident during performance of maintenance, inspection or troubleshooting
  • Interprets maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics and drawings
  • Performs tests and prepares reports as required
  • Handles emergencies and failures in accordance with established procedures through immediate response and quick action
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Participates in regular training to maintain the required level of knowledge to effectively maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the system.
  • Conduct inspections and audits, as directed, to insure compliance of sub-contractors
  • Complete logs, reports, administrative functions as necessary
  • Performs receiving inspections as directed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Specialized technical training is a plus in any of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, or electronics from a recognized institution.
  • 2 years' experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical electrical or electronic systems
  • Valid driver's license
Compensation:
$15 - $17/hr
