• $25/h About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Technician Trainee to join our client's team in the industrial sector.

In this role, you will contribute to ensuring on-time delivery of equipment, improving maintenance efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, testing, and repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment (e.g., rotary control units). Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers) to troubleshoot issues. Assemble and build components such as bearing packs. Conduct testing (including flow loop testing) and basic programming tasks. Support failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Work within assigned workstation areas and rotate tasks periodically. Maintain production targets and support equipment turnaround efficiency.

Requirements Minimum:

2 years relevant experience, or equivalent education (2-year technical degree in electronics technology) / military maintenance background .

Ability to use:

multimeters, basic hand tools, oscilloscopes, and measuring devices. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate business systems. Basic understanding of electronics and some mechanical aptitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience with rotary steerable or similar oilfield equipment. Soldering experience (ISO certifications a plus but not required).
