Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Oilfield I&E Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems across oil and gas production facilities. This role is critical to ensuring reliable operations, regulatory compliance, system integrity in the field, and the ability to work in demanding field conditions including long hours and possible holidays. Key Responsibilities Maintain and diagnose PLCs, RTUs, and control systems (e.g., ROC, ABB, SCADA systems) Perform loop checks, commissioning, and startup support Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, C&E, and electrical schematics Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, and flow devices Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures Respond to callouts and emergency repairs as needed Document maintenance activities and system changes Responsible and show up to work on time Qualifications 3+ years of oilfield I&E or industrial electrical experience preferred Strong knowledge of instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot using multimeters, loop calibrators, and diagnostic tools Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience in Oil & gas production facilities (tank batteries, SWDs, compressor stations, production equipment) Knowledge of hazardous area classifications (Class I, Div 1/2) Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, TCP, etc.) Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Must have or acquire electrical apprentice license Climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces Stand, walk, and work long hours in outdoor conditions Ability to be on call out rotation Live within 45 minutes to Kenedy TX (Preferred) Use of proper PPE (FR Clothing CAT 2) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Bonus based on Company Performance and Employee Evaluation Why Join Us Steady work in a growing oilfield operation Opportunity to work with modern automation and control systems Strong safety culture and team environment Company has been in business since 1999 How to Apply Submit your resume to: Jobs@mriautomation.com
