Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated I&E Technician / Electrical Apprentice to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems in oilfield operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in industrial electrical and instrumentation work while gaining hands-on field experience. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures Support senior technicians and supervisors on field projects Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate job documentation Responsible and show up to work on time Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must have or acquire electrical apprentice license Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license with clean driving record Preferred Experience (Not Required) Oil & gas or industrial experience Familiarity with PLCs, RTUs, or control systems Basic understanding of instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow devices) Experience using hand tools and electrical testing equipment Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces Stand, walk, and work in field environments for extended periods Live within 45 minutes to Kenedy TX (Preferred) Use of proper PPE (FR Clothing CAT 2) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career advancement and training opportunities Bonus based on Company Performance and Employee Evaluation How to Apply Submit your resume to: Jobs@mriautomation.com
