$30-35/hr + based on experience About the Opportunity Join a growing automation and robotics company that designs and builds custom manufacturing equipment for customers across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical assembly experience who enjoys working on automated machinery, troubleshooting systems, and supporting equipment through build, testing, and startup. You'll work closely with Engineering, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and commission custom automation systems. What You'll Be Doing Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components on custom automated machinery Wire industrial equipment using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings Install and connect sensors, motors, pneumatics, safety devices, control panels, and machine components Assist with electrical checkout, troubleshooting, and machine startup activities Diagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues during assembly and testing Support controls and automation teams during machine debugging and system integration Verify proper operation of motors, actuators, sensors, and electrical devices Perform mechanical assembly, alignment, and installation of machine components as needed Document wiring changes and as-built modifications throughout the build process Assist with equipment tear-down, shipment preparation, customer site installation, and startup support when required Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Required 3+ years of industrial electrical assembly, machine building, maintenance, or automation experience Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings Experience wiring industrial machinery, control panels, sensors, motors, and field devices Familiarity with 24VDC and industrial control circuits Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Ability to work onsite Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for equipment installation and startup Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
