In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of complex systems across various industries. Responsibilities Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions using schematics, test equipment such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge. Repair and maintain equipment by replacing faulty components, adjusting circuitry, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools and specialized instruments to perform precise repairs on electrical systems and computer hardware. Follow detailed service procedures for troubleshooting low voltage systems, computer networking issues, and mechanical components. Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan. Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately identify problem areas. Document repair activities, maintenance logs, and service reports clearly for record-keeping and future reference. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in a related field involving electrical or electronic repair work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, low voltage wiring, and computer hardware troubleshooting. Proficiency with hand tools, test meters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to read technical diagrams and understand mechanical concepts related to equipment repair. Experience with field service operations, including on-site troubleshooting and customer interaction. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in computer networking is preferred. Valid technical certification or training in electronics or electrical systems is advantageous.
