Automation Apprentice Lufkin US Acquisition Company LLC Odessa, TX Job Details Apprenticeship 1 hour ago Qualifications Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Full Job Description As an Automation Apprentice at Lufkin Industries, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Lufkin Automation equipment under direct supervision, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical/electronic issues, and ensuring efficient operation and installation of related equipment. Responsibilities Service and maintain Lufkin Automation equipment under direct supervision Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical/electronic equipment Perform on-site installation of electrical/electronic equipment, including conduits Operate various electronic tools and equipment, such as auto cranes and stud guns Assess and address well-optimization issues independently or with the help of technical specialists Collaborate with other business entities and manage customer service standards and quality Follow HSE procedures rigorously Other projects as required Minimum Requirements High School Diploma/GED Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift 55 lbs and perform physical activities in different types of weather conditions Essential Characteristics Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite Ability to work independently and in team settings Experience in oilfield operations, automation, and instrumentation (preferred) Strong commitment to safety and quality standards Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage inventory Disclaimer The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
