Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and instrumentation used in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in industrial electronics with experience working in hazardous environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic and instrumentation systems used in drilling, production, and processing facilities. Troubleshoot control systems, PLCs, sensors, and communication networks to minimize downtime. Perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance on field and plant equipment. Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve electrical issues. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in accordance with company and industry regulations. Document maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely. Collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and field service personnel on system upgrades and project implementation.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as an electronics technician in the oil and gas or industrial sector. Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems, motor control circuits, and process instrumentation. Familiarity with safety standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in remote field or Shop environments as required.

Preferred:

Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs and automation systems. Valid safety or H2S certification.
