Fiber Splicer

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Fiber Splicers to support fiber optic installation and restoration projects in telecom and commercial environments. This role focuses on high-quality fusion splicing, fiber preparation, enclosure management, and documentation to ensure reliable fiber performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fusion splicing on single-mode and multi-mode fiber Splice high-count fiber including 90 into 250 configurations Prep, strip, cleave, and organize fiber for splicing Build out and dress splice trays, enclosures, and cabinets Maintain proper fiber routing, bend radius, and labeling Perform fiber continuity checks and basic verification testing Identify and troubleshoot splice-related issues such as high loss or damaged fiber Maintain clean and organized fiber management within racks and enclosures Follow project documentation, splice matrices, and work orders Adhere to safety standards and site requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fiber Splicer Hands-on experience with fusion splicing equipment Experience working with high-count fiber cables Familiarity with splice trays, closures, and fiber management systems Ability to read fiber documentation, splice plans, and labeling schemes Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team Please include best contact information on copy of updated resume.
