Full Job Description Overview:
Abacus Technology is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide technical support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Perform work with responsibility in planning and conducting projects of limited scope, or a portion of a larger project which includes leadership responsibilities, scheduling, and planning activities. Perform research, data analysis, development, design, evaluation, inspection, problem solving, production, application, standardization, testing, or operation of engineering facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, or materials.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in engineering support including at least 3 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Work related certifications and/or training strongly preferred. Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI). Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
