Essential Job Functions:
    Learn Manufacturing Processes:
    Gain a comprehensive understanding of the GWA manufacturing process.
      AMHS Administration:
      Manage, supervise, and recover Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS).
        Equipment Maintenance:
        Perform maintenance and repairs on AMHS equipment.
          System Optimization:
          Drive AMHS improvements, optimization, and production control.
            Troubleshooting:
            Resolve issues with AMHS equipment and logical issues and handle new manufacturing requirements.
              Issue Tracking:
              Monitor and track issues across the manufacturing line.
                Support Roles:
                Provide support to manufacturing and engineering teams.
                  Equipment Management:
                  Oversee and manage manufacturing equipment.
                    Policy Implementation:
                    Enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices in line with our global security policy.
                      Team Collaboration:
                      Work as a team member on various projects and responsibilities outside the immediate scope of this position.
                        Manufacturing Support:
                        Participate in a shift rotation schedule to provide 24/7 support coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
                          Software Support and Development:
                          Provide support and development for relevant software.
                            IT Help Desk:
                            Provide first-level support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues through various methods, including phone, email, and remote access.
                              System Maintenance:
                              Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides, knowledge bases, and incident logs
                              Required Qualifications:
                              • Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.
                              • Prefer to have proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
                              • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
                              • Ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
                              • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
                              • Ability to lift and carry computer equipment and AMHS tools up to 50 pounds.
                              • Familiar with the OSI or TCP/IP model, basic networking troubleshooting commands.
                              • Able to work independently and collaboratively with others in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with little to no supervision.
                              Preferred Qualifications:
                              Experience in semiconductor manufacturing tool support and working in a semiconductor factory environment.
                              Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
                              Expertise, talents, characteristics, and behaviors which are typically representative, but not all-inclusive, of those commonly associated with the job. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex manufacturing processes, particularly in high-tech environments. Technical proficiency in managing and maintaining Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) including troubleshooting and recovery. Collaborative team-oriented individual who contributes to cross-functional projects and supports global and local objectives. Familiarity with software development and support, including documentation and version control. Competence in providing second-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Ability to enforce company policies and procedures in alignment with global security standards. Effective communicator who fosters a positive team environment and demonstrates a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving manufacturing settings which depends on IT support for success.
