Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced R & R Technician with general automotive mechanic skills to join our team in Springtown Tx. All brand new lifts, flusher, parts washers, air compressors, jacks, stands, etc. will make your working experience safe and enjoyable. As an R & R Technician, you will be responsible for removing and replacing transmissions, cleaning your work station after jobs, flushing the transmission cooler and minor mechanical repairs. You will receive applicable paid training and 10 paid days off/year. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive engine, transmission, and electrical systems. Candidates must own their own tools/box.

Duties Include:

• Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or areas of concern, including documentation and photographs of issues
• Follow schematics and technical manuals to complete your job
• Perform engine repairs and maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used
• Keep work area swept, mopped, and tidy
• Must be able to keep track of parts removed or used
• Must have own basic tools, we provide some shop tools

Experience:

• Proven experience as a seasoned R & R Technician
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical operations is a plus
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a plus
