Position Overview:
The Physical Therapy & Laser Technician plays a vital role in supporting licensed Physical Therapists and enhancing the patient experience. This individual assists with clinic operations, patient support activities, and wellness service workflows, including assisting with Class IV laser wellness services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with applicable clinic policies and state regulations. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a clinical healthcare environment. Assist licensed Physical Therapists with delegated patient support and clinic activities in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies Assist with Class IV laser wellness services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to established clinic protocols Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to support efficient patient flow and clinic operations Assist with delegated therapeutic activities, patient positioning, and exercise support as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Provide patients with professional guidance, hospitality, and support throughout their clinic experience Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Document delegated support activities and wellness service participation in accordance with clinic procedures and supervisory direction Communicate patient observations, concerns, and equipment needs to supervising Physical Therapists and clinical leadership Uphold clinic standards for professionalism, patient experience, confidentiality, and safety Participate in required training, competency validation, and continuing education Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in health sciences, kinesiology, or related field preferred Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic, healthcare setting, or customer-facing medical role preferred Ability to learn and follow clinical protocols with precision and consistency Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional demeanor and patient-centered mindset Willingness to complete training and competency validation for Class IV laser therapy Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Benefits for Full-Time Employees:
