(RDI) has an immediate opening for a Calibration Technician. This position will support our commercial Calibration Lab located in Webster, Texas. RDI has been providing calibration services for over 49 years; we have a vast customer base which includes: military, aerospace, medical, academia, energy, and various other commercial and government sectors.
Position Overview:
Responsible for performing repairs, calibrations, and general housekeeping. Be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the management system. Ensures compliance with ISO standards. Required to keep the Lab Manager informed of any equipment status changes that would affect its delivery. Reports any problems or needed improvements to the Lab Manager.
Qualifications:
(Education, Skills, Experience): Candidates should be proficient in one or more of the following: Physical Dimensional, DC & Low Torque Pressure Understand the objective of calibration and how to assess results. ASQ Certified Calibration Technician certification preferred or must be obtained within 2 years of employment.
GCAMS/TMDE/PMEL
training preferred. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration or a related field.
