I&E Technician Magna, UT, United States | req30002 What you will enjoy doing• You will support and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations Troubleshoot, assess, and refurbish pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, electrical systems, and analytical equipment Full-time role based in Magna, UT with support for facilities in Price, UT; Green River, WY; and Elko, NV Further, you will follow safe work permit processes, policies, and procedures at all times Provide technical expertise in collaboration with engineering and reliability teams Create and maintain accurate service reports using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Calibrate, test, and perform functional checks on instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, and control elements Optimize work execution during planned and unplanned equipment outages And you will assist in training and development of new employees Identify, assess, and resolve priority-based instrumentation and electrical issues Communicate directly with OEM vendors and suppliers What makes you great You have a High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or apprenticeship preferred Proven experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation in a continuous chemical or industrial environment Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation, electrical systems, and analytical equipment, including Allen Bradley ControlLogix Ability to calibrate instruments and use electrical testing equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&IDs, schematics, single-line diagrams) Proficient in computer and technical systems, including maintenance reporting tools (CMMS) Ability to collaborate with teams, train new employees, and communicate with vendors/OEMs Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed You have a valid driver's license required; ability to travel between sites as needed Ability to operate or be trained on mobile equipment (forklift, manlift) Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, working in confined spaces, and wearing required PPE Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
