Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an Analytical Instrument Service Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments used across various manufacturing and research environments. We mainly repair and maintain Agilent and Waters HPLC, LC/MS, GC and GC/MS systems and QQQ instruments and their periferals. Duties Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on a wide range of analytical instruments such as spectrometers, chromatography systems. Responsible for repairing instrumentation and testing in office and customers sites. Ability to read and understand instrument manuals and be self-motivated to learn and advance. Perform instrument preventive maintenance and performance qualifications. Ability to lift and move instruments (50lbs) while working on them and around office. Repair and replace components including sensors, motors, high voltage modules, and low voltage circuitry. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications. Test to obtain training certificates Ability to client interface Document all service activities thoroughly in service reports and maintain detailed records of service performed. Experience BS Chemistry 1-2 years lab experience running GC/MS or LC/MS Experience with Empower, Chemstation, OpenLab, MassHunter Desire to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation Knowledge of Waters and Agilent Gas and Liquid chromatography instruments Full training will be provided. Pay based on experience Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly during field service visits or client interactions. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
