Job Description

  • Only qualified Engineering Intern candidates located near the Salt Lake City, UT area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
  • Required Qualifications Education
  • Associate's Degree in Science Mathematics or Engineering required OR minimum 4 years of related experience Required Experience
  • Laboratory experience required
  • Medical device industry experience required
  • Experience working with data sheets documentation and test records
  • Ability to work safely in a biohazard environment
  • Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines Required Tech Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience using Minitab required
  • Basic technical writing skills
  • Ability to collect record and report data accurately
  • Basic math and statistics knowledge
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of standard laboratory practices Required Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Knowledge of ISO and FDA-regulated environments preferred
  • Experience supporting testing, manufacturing, or engineering activities preferred Responsibilities
  • Assist with engineering testing and laboratory activities
  • Support the generation of formal test protocols and reports
  • Execute test procedures and document results accurately
  • Set up and operate testing equipment with supervision
  • Maintain accurate records and organize test data into reportable formats
  • Provide process and test method support to manufacturing and quality teams
  • Track development builds through documentation and manufacturing processes
  • Follow safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Work safely in laboratory and biohazard environments
