Job Description
- Only qualified Engineering Intern candidates located near the Salt Lake City, UT area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
- Required Qualifications Education
- Associate's Degree in Science Mathematics or Engineering required OR minimum 4 years of related experience Required Experience
- Laboratory experience required
- Medical device industry experience required
- Experience working with data sheets documentation and test records
- Ability to work safely in a biohazard environment
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines Required Tech Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Experience using Minitab required
- Basic technical writing skills
- Ability to collect record and report data accurately
- Basic math and statistics knowledge
- Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of standard laboratory practices Required Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to work under supervision Preferred Experience
- Experience generating test protocols and reports preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing or quality control teams preferred
- Experience in regulated medical device environments preferred
- Knowledge of ISO and FDA-regulated environments preferred
- Experience supporting testing, manufacturing, or engineering activities preferred Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering testing and laboratory activities
- Support the generation of formal test protocols and reports
- Execute test procedures and document results accurately
- Set up and operate testing equipment with supervision
- Maintain accurate records and organize test data into reportable formats
- Provide process and test method support to manufacturing and quality teams
- Track development builds through documentation and manufacturing processes
- Follow safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements
- Work safely in laboratory and biohazard environments
