Full Job Description About Us:
NOVA Ponds is a locally owned and growing small business specializing in backyard pond & water feature installation and maintenance, as well as the construction and upkeep of larger earthen ponds and lakes. We devoted to our craftsmanship, our commitment to clients, and the passion we bring to every project.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Pond Technician to join our expanding team. This hands-on role focuses on building, diagnosing, repairing, and improving a variety of ponds, fountains, and water features. With less emphasis, it will also involve servicing, and maintaining backyard water features and larger natural ponds. The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, has a great attitude, and takes pride in their work. Willingness to learn and take feedback is crucial. Technical experience is required (construction, handyman, plumbing, HVAC, pool, irrigation, controls, etc.). Leadership experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair plumbing issues, leaking pond liners, faulty systems, and more Troubleshoot, repair, and install pumps, filters, lights, and more Build, clean, and maintain ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and lakes Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery Interact professionally with clients and represent NOVA Ponds on job sites Work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments Drive company vehicles, sometimes with trailer
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential Prior experience in similar trades required Leadership or crew management experience is a plus Must be punctual, reliable, and organized Willingness to learn and take feedback Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CDL not required but is a plus Why Join NOVA Ponds?
