  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer to perform high-quality fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting for OSP and ISP fiber networks.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently in the field while meeting strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform fusion splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fiber Prep, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables Read and interpret fiber prints, splice diagrams, and schematics Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing Document splice results and test data accurately Work in manholes, handholes, cabinets, aerial and underground environments Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness Follow all safety and quality control procedures Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on fiber splicing experience Proficiency with fusion splicers, cleavers, OTDRs, and test equipment Strong understanding of OSP/ISP fiber construction Ability to work independently and manage field time effectively Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Ribbon splicing experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience with major carrier standards Bucket truck or CDL experience Fiber certifications (FOA, ETA, or equivalent) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady work with growth opportunities Per diem and travel compensation (if applicable) Supportive team and quality-focused culture
