Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator / Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting laser cutting equipment to support high-quality production in a fast-paced machine shop environment. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate laser cutting machines for production runs Interpret and execute laser programs with accuracy and efficiency Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications Operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely Use lifting equipment to move raw materials and finished products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of machining principles (threads, keys, bearing fits, bushings) Knowledge of basic geometry and measurement techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions Experience troubleshooting mechanical or production equipment Familiarity with laser cutting systems, programs, and controls IND2
