Job Description

Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PLC programming, robotics, machine automation, HMI, network communication protocols, relay interfaces, and integrated electrical/mechanical systems , along with the ability to develop, interpret, and support complex schematics and controls solutions. Key Responsibilities Support the design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of control systems for heavy industrial manufacturing equipment Develop and maintain PLC programming and logic across various programming languages Support robotics and machine automation applications Design, configure, and troubleshoot Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) Work with network communication protocols and relay interfaces Provide engineering and technical support for integrated electrical, mechanical, and controls systems Develop and/or interpret electrical, mechanical, and controls schematics Support system performance, troubleshooting, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders as needed Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required Experience with PLC programming and logic development across various programming languages Experience with robotics and machine automation Experience with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) Knowledge of network communication protocols Experience with relay interfaces Strong technical aptitude and understanding of how electrical and mechanical components work together as a system Experience providing engineering and technical support for heavy industrial manufacturing equipment Experience developing and/or interpreting electrical, mechanical, and controls schematics Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
