General Summary:
Responsible for repair and maintenance of electronic systems necessary to Airport operations.
Responsibilities:
Maintains a basic knowledge of state and local fire codes and performs all work in compliance with industry standards (B1X1, BOCA, ADA). Trouble shoot and repair equipment as required. Maintain all CRAC owned electronic tools and test equipment in a neat and operational manner, recommending repairs, replacements, and purchases. Evaluate electronic components related to the production process or the quality of final product parts and determine when there is a need for changes to the process. Other assigned duties.
Education & Experience:
Ability to read and comprehend drawings and schematics of electrical and mechanical systems at a level typically required through the completion of High School. Knowledge of electronic system operations in commercial buildings as typically acquired through the completion of high school technical courses. Possession of, or ability to obtain industry certification such as B1X1, NICET, or A+ is desired, but not mandatory
Internal Candidates Eligibility:
An employee must normally have completed at least twelve (12) consecutive months of employment in the current position before being eligible to apply for a new position within the Commission.
