Responsibilities Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair equipment on-site at customer locations, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilize hand tools, schematics, and testing devices such as ohmmeters to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan. Repair and replace components in computer hardware, networking equipment, and mechanical systems following technical specifications. Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems effectively. Maintain detailed service records, including repair logs, parts used, and diagnostic findings for accountability and future reference. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair status, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in field service or as a service technician with hands-on repair expertise. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with computer hardware and low voltage electrical systems. Proficiency using hand tools, schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of computer networking concepts to troubleshoot connectivity issues related to hardware repairs. Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and follow detailed repair procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally.
