Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Low Voltage Technician and become a vital part of delivering cutting-edge Life safety and security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage electronic systems across various commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless network, security, and communication systems that keep our partners and their clients protected. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with electronic technology, develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to projects that make a real difference. Duties Install, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, nurse call, wander management, and locking systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs. Perform cable pulling (Cat5, Cat6) and terminations in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues with electronic and network equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment such as switches, electronic equipment, power supplies, and hardware using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service calls. Qualifications Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Service Technician working with Life Safety Systems, including electronic and security equipment. Understanding relay logic. Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and PoE. Hands-on experience with cabling installation in compliance with NEC standards. Ability to use testing equipment such as multimeters for troubleshooting electronic issues. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel for on-site installations or service calls. A clean background is also required. Pay:
$24.00 - $35.00 per hour
