at Champlain Valley Equipment in Derby , Vermont, United States Job Description Champlain Valley Equipment is an agricultural and light duty construction equipment business headquartered in Middlebury, Vermont. We are seeking a full-time set up and service technician responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs and setups on equipment and implements. Primarily seeking an individual interested in specializing in Fisher Snowplow installation and repair. Dealership hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to noon on most Saturdays. Location Derby, Vermont Tasks Set up new equipment for product display and sale to consumers. Perform routine maintenance, servicing and repairing of equipment including but not limited to small tractors, mowers, ATV's and handheld landscaping equipment. Test and inspect equipment to determine malfunctions, locate missing and/or broken parts, and verify repairs, using diagnostic instruments if needed. Setup, repair and install Fisher snowplows and spreaders on trucks, which will include diagnosis of hydraulic and electrical issues. Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used with proper documentation. Show customers how to maintain equipment. Must haves Mechanical aptitude Tools Computer skills and electronic service tool knowledge Driver's license and clean MVR Training is available in specific product areas, to include Fisher, Stihl, Kubota and more!
