Health and life insurance, sick time, 401k Responsibilities Perform component level troubleshooting. Perform detailed testing of electronic assemblies using various measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical functionality. Utilize schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot, debug, and analyze circuit issues during testing phases. Operate precision measuring instruments and hand tools for assembly verification, soldering, and mechanical adjustments. Collect, record, and analyze data from tests to identify trends or recurring issues, supporting root cause analysis efforts. Support the implementation of test automation procedures to improve efficiency and consistency in testing processes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and continuous process improvements. Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance using specialized equipment such as automated optical inspection systems. Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection reports, and defect logs for traceability and compliance purposes. Assist in the calibration of testing equipment to ensure ongoing measurement accuracy. Skills Component level troubleshooting. Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes and related equipment. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometers, ohmmeters, and other handheld tools. Strong analysis skills for evaluating test data and identifying areas for process improvement. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment. Manufacturing experience with a focus on quality inspection processes.
