Electronics Technician

Electronics Technician Overview The Electronics Technician tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems. This role applies electronic principles and testing methods to ensure quality, reliability, and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies to the component level Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation Perform automated and manual testing using specialized equipment Calibrate and adjust units; document results and non-conformance reports Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, KPIs, Standard Work) Maintain test records and equipment documentation Assist with training and technical support of other technicians Work overtime as needed Qualifications 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education Strong troubleshooting and circuit-level repair skills Manufacturing or repair environment experience Proficiency with computer systems and test software Excellent communication and manual dexterity Assembly and soldering experience preferred Work Environment Manufacturing setting requiring PPE. Primarily seated work at a bench using computers and microscopes. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
