Job Description

Coffee Equipment Technician — Fix the Machines Behind the Perfect Cup Caffeinated Coffee Repairs
  • 2.6 Renton, WA Job Details Full-time $23
  • $27 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Maintenance work Driver's License Full Job Description You're the person who fixes things before being asked.
You've swapped out an outlet, replaced a faucet, or taken something apart just to understand how it works. When you hit a wall, your first move is to find information — a wiring diagram, a manual, a YouTube video — not to wait for someone to hand you the answer. You enjoy coffee. You communicate clearly, in writing and in person. If that sounds like you, keep reading. If you're applying to every open posting this week hoping something sticks — this one probably isn't the right fit, and that's okay. What this role actually looks like You'll handle two to three service calls per day at commercial coffee accounts. Here's what you'll actually be doing: Using a multimeter to take voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity readings Reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams to trace faults to their source Identifying outlet types and plumbing thread sizes, and building adapters when needed Disassembling and reassembling components with care and attention to detail Referencing parts diagrams and machine documentation for part numbers Writing accurate, professional service notes — complete sentences, correct spelling, no slang Managing tickets and time through ServiceTitan, our digital dispatch platform Explaining your findings clearly to customers in plain language Tasting coffee regularly to confirm a machine is dialed in after a repair Some hands-on experience is expected — changing outlets, replacing fixtures, completing home repair projects, or similar work. You don't need a formal background, but you shouldn't be picking up a multimeter for the first time on your first call. You'll also need a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to lift 75 lbs, a reliable smartphone, and a secure address for parts deliveries via FedEx and UPS. What makes us different We've built a support structure so you can focus on diagnosing and fixing. A dedicated team handles dispatch, scheduling, and back-office support including estimates and invoicing for large and enterprise accounts. Inventory is tracked digitally and reordered automatically — though you'll assist with parts receiving and inventory counts. You'll also need basic confidence with vehicle upkeep, like handling a flat tire or dropping the vehicle off for scheduled maintenance. Once training is complete, you'll receive a company vehicle and start your day from home — no office required. What success looks like At 30 days — accurate diagnoses. Speed isn't the focus yet. Getting it right is. At 60 days — running calls solo with minimal errors. Self-sufficient. At 90 days — averaging two hours or less on site. Capable and efficient. What we offer $23
