Electrical Technician Job Description The Electrical Technician role involves working as part of a team to build custom-engineered solutions for advanced equipment in various highly technical industries. Responsibilities Run cable, land, and terminate connections for 24V wiring. Install cable tray, e-chain, and conduit. Follow NEC and NFPA requirements with guidance. Read line schematics and troubleshoot electrical circuits. Solder and assemble small technical parts. Provide electrical support for industrial automation systems. Essential Skills Ability to read and redline drawings and schematics. Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits using a multimeter. Experience with blueprints, electrical assembly, and wiring control panels. Knowledge of schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 years of electrical experience preferred but not required. Experience bending electrical conduit preferred. Experience building certified electrical panels is a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD software is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a very clean aerospace manufacturing environment, with tasks performed in the workshop and at client sites, requiring up to 50% local travel. The role involves working in tight spaces with a risk of electrical shock, and noise levels can vary from moderate to high. Physical requirements include repetitive bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs. The position requires the ability to read and decipher prints and to see in detail for terminating wires. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
