In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of copier and multifunction printer equipment. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation for clients by delivering prompt, professional, and efficient service. Responsibilities Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of copiers, printers, and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot software issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems using schematics and diagnostic tools. Utilize hand tools and specialized OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts to conduct equipment repairs accurately. Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to identify root causes of issues efficiently. Conduct preventative maintenance visits to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with clients to explain repair procedures and provide guidance on device operation. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and troubleshooting steps taken for each visit. Experience 1+ year experience as a service technician specializing in copier and printer equipment repair. Strong background in computer hardware, networking, and software troubleshooting related to multifunction devices. Familiarity with mechanical components of office equipment and the use of hand tools for repairs. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Prior experience with IT systems integration or networked office devices is highly desirable but not required.
