Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, adaptable R&D Automation Technician to join an innovative manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a resourceful, mechanically inclined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of building, deploying, and supporting automation systems. You will work closely with a small, highly collaborative team focused on developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with project managers and software developers to support automation initiatives Execute assigned tasks and contribute to project completion Select, integrate, and deploy automation technologies Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical components Troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests Test new ideas, systems, and technologies Create and maintain documentation for deployment and support processes Implement updates, revisions, and system improvements Required Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment Experience in a manufacturing and machining setting Experience with electronics, including wiring, soldering, and use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters Comfortable working around machinery with a strong understanding of safety practices Solid computer skills, including basic networking knowledge Ability to learn independently and solve problems without formal training Highly adaptable with a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks Strong time management and prioritization skills Quick thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Comfortable working with hands-on tasks in a technical environment
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
