Electronics Test Technician

Company located in Horicon Wisconsin is seeking an Electronic Test Technician to join our team! We are a growing, fast paced leader in custom electronic controls for OEM's. Responsibilities :

(You will be doing…)

• Participate in the production test process.
• Interpret technical engineering documents, such as schematics, electronic drawings and test plans.
• Setup and operate complex test equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist with tasks related to new product development (product rework, repair or modification).
• Provide guidance to production personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Build test harnesses and setups per instructions/schematics.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems.

Qualifications :

(You must have….)

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• 1-year experience using Labview software, preferred.

IPC-A-610

Certification, preferred.

• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set up and operate test equipment, including a computer-based test system.
• Aptitude for working with the tools and equipment common to the testing area.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to consistently meet project deadlines.
• Proficient at soldering surface mount and through-hole components.
• Must be able to interpret test documentation and implement an automated test program to complete the testing process.
