(AAI), located in University Research Park on Madison's west side, is hiring an Automation Technician to support automated circuit board assembly equipment used in electronics manufacturing. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, electronics training, automotive/CNC experience, or manufacturing troubleshooting experience who wants to grow into a skilled technical career. - 12:45 AM $1,500 sign-on bonus Full benefits package Stable, growing electronics manufacturer Casual and team-oriented environment Career growth and technical skill development Work with automated manufacturing equipment and PCB assembly processes What You'll Do Run and monitor automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot machine and production issues Perform basic machine adjustments and fine-tuning Support equipment maintenance and repairs Monitor product quality and process performance Assist with prototype and production builds Help maintain workflow within the production department What We're Looking For Associate degree in Electronics, CNC, Automotive, Computer Programming, PC Repair, or related field preferred Equivalent hands-on technical or manufacturing experience considered Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Comfortable working with automated equipment Basic computer skills (Excel and Word) Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Experience (Not Required) SMT/PCB Manufacturing Electronics manufacturing Automated assembly equipment Industrial or manufacturing troubleshooting Schedule Full-time | 2nd Shift Monday•Thursday 2:45 PM•12:45 AM Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and sign-on bonus eligibility.
