Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Inline Repair Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing. The Inline Repair Operator will execute manual soldering for SMT and Thru-Hole components, repair PCBs using specialized tools, and maintain clean and safe soldering workstations according to established standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute manual soldering for SMT and Thru-Hole components to
IPC-A-610
standards Repair PCBs using tools including soldering irons, hot air guns, and de-soldering tools Rework and replace components on damaged or failed boards Report recurring or complex issues to Supervisor Maintain clean and safe soldering workstations according to 5S standards and ESD-safe work practices Identify and correct soldering defects such as cold joints, solder bridges, and insufficient solder Maintain repair logs, part usage, and record completion of tasks Perform visual inspections under magnification or microscope for solder quality Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; ICP610 and
IPC771/21
