Schedule Details:
 Work on an as-needed basis to support staffing gaps at the MUK site. Primarily scheduled to cover planned time off, vacations, and periods of low staffing. May be called in for short-notice coverage depending on departmental need. Typical shift lengths may range from 4 to 8 hours, depending on operational requirements. No guaranteed hours; scheduled based on departmental demand.
What You Will Do:
Processes medical and non-medical supplies used in patient care. Duties including decontamination, cleaning, disinfecting, assembly of procedure sets and equipment. Wrapping items to be sterilized, and sterilization as policies and procedures indicate. Decontaminates, cleans, processes, assembles and sterilizes medical/surgical devices used in patient care. Transportation of needed equipment to/from its place of use. What you will need: High school diploma or equivalent or 5+ years similar experience. Additional education in central services preferred. Certification as a Registered Central Services Technician preferred. Experience in sterile processing/central service preferred.
