Test Technician

New Berlin, Wisconsin job type: Contract salary: $32.56 - 44.20 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Execute product, prototype, and component testing using standard laboratory instrumentation to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance standards.

Conduct safety and EMC testing according to UL, CSA, and IEC standards, travel to external accredited facilities, and support laboratory audits.

Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and setups, including mechanical construction, electrical wiring, and the use of LabVIEW-based systems.

Diagnose and repair electronic and electrical circuits using schematics, and perform precision surface-mount component soldering under engineering guidance.

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate test reports, data records, and compliance documentation.
