Electronics Technician Job Description In this role, you will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test, troubleshoot, and repair integrated unit-level assemblies and circuit board assemblies down to the component level. You will also support assembly processes for both unit subassembly and the final integration of unit-level assemblies. This is an on-site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. This is a 1st shift position (7am - 3:30pm). Responsibilities Perform in-circuit and functional tests and component-level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies. Utilize mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble products per drawings or other documents using common tools. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subassembly-level components. Integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex end-items. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics. Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry and the capability to troubleshoot complex assemblies to the component level. Ability to diagnose complex circuitry independently. Understanding of written work instructions and the ability to comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications An Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or another related program from an accredited institution. Equivalent military training will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship. Work Environment This position is located on-site at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. The work schedule is the first shift, from 7am to 3:30pm. The role involves working with various tools and equipment to test and assemble electronic components. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
