Summary:

Seeking an Electrical Technician with experience in electrical and electronic technology for a contract position in a test lab and R&D environment.

Job Requirements:

AAS Degree in Technology with Electrical/Electronic emphasis 3+ years of relevant work experience Soldering experience (wires, splices, PCBs) Experience building cabling and modifying wiring harnesses Experience wiring sensors data collection in a test lab Strong, hands-on mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills

Preferred Skills:

Heavy truck, agriculture, or construction equipment mechanic experience Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems

Job Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and teardown electrical instrumentation, automation, and data acquisition equipment on lab test stands Construct/modify electrical cables and wiring harnesses based on engineering sketches or drawings Build and wire electrical enclosures for use in test cell monitor, record, or control applications Install and maintain test cell permanent install wiring and signal conditioning equipment Enter lab instrumentation device calibration information into database Communicate assembly/fit-up issues and proposals for improvement to engineers Operate basic shop power tools for custom modification or making of parts Monitor parts/material inventory and report needs to leadership Interface with support groups and customers, such as Design Engineering and Test Engineering Communicate information effectively, both verbally and in writing #
