Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Electronics Control Technician to join our team in Rhinelander, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic control systems that keep our operations running smoothly. Your expertise will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance across our manufacturing processes. Duties Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of electronic control systems and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct routine inspections of control panels, wiring, sensors, and low voltage systems to prevent failures. Use hand tools and computer hardware to diagnose problems and implement repairs efficiently. Assist in the repair and maintenance of mechanical components related to control systems. Document all service activities accurately in maintenance logs and reports. Support field service operations by traveling to various sites as needed for on-site troubleshooting and repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on electronic controls or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with computer networking and hardware. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively. Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and testing devices like ohmmeters. Knowledge of field service operations including working with computer hardware and networked systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
