Job Title:
Engineering Technician Third shift Job Description This role is a third shift position in an engineering lab, operating Monday through Friday from 11 PM to 8 AM. The Engineering Technician is responsible for performing tests on both current and new product designs under close supervision. This position supports continuous improvement initiatives to reduce the potential for product defects and contributes to laboratory operations following established standards and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a growing company. Responsibilities Ensure tests continue to run smoothly to prevent downtime before the first shift arrives. Perform testing on current and new product designs. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing potential product defects. Contribute to laboratory operations in accordance with established standards and procedures. Essential Skills Experience with electrical and mechanical engineering. Proficiency in using multimeters and oscilloscopes. Ability to troubleshoot engineering issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of experience working in a professional environment. Experience in an engineering lab is preferred but not required. Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical, or environmental troubleshooting or assembly. Work Environment The position is located in an engineering lab with a third shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 11 PM to 8 AM. The work involves ensuring smooth operations of tests and supporting lab activities, with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
