JOB SUMMARY
Join our team at Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL), a world leader in biosourced pharmaceuticals, located just outside of Madison, Wisconsin in Waunakee! SPL is an innovative biopharmaceutical leader with unique products and services supporting the pharmaceutical industry globally. For over 40 years, SPL specializes in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). SPL has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Supervisor Metrology. With minimal supervision, execute metrology program processes to ensure requirements are met for proper calibration of production, research, and quality control instruments. Supervise, develop, and mentor team of calibration specialists. Develop and maintain cGMP compliant metrology systems. Responsibilities include : Work with Department Managers to determine scheduling according to SPL priorities, ensuring that the cGMP calibration schedule is met. Perform all aspects of metrology and calibration (including out of tolerance and out of frequency reports) to maintain various calibration standards, the Calibration and Metrology Information System (CMIS) and provide written recommendations to management in support of it. Participate in audits, addresses audit findings, and writes studies and investigations where necessary. Develop appropriate calibration systems and procedures for new and existing process and lab equipment. Review calibration records. Assess Out of Tolerance (OOT) results and assist in determining how the OOT instrumentation potentially affects the product. Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Education:
Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree or above preferred.Experience:
