Job Description
Electrical Engineer - Industrial Environment (Power Systems) Overview The Electrical Engineer supports the design, maintenance, and reliability of power distribution systems within a heavy industrial environment. This role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of low and medium voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities Design, maintain, and troubleshoot low and medium voltage power distribution systems Support and maintain electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and protective relays Perform arc flash studies and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards Lead or support power system upgrades, expansions, and capital projects Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to resolve electrical issues and reduce downtime Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience with industrial power systems (low and medium voltage) Familiarity with switchgear, protective relaying, and power distribution equipment Knowledge of arc flash analysis and electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred
