The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and have experience working in manufacturing or residential environments. This role requires proactive problem-solving, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning spaces. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations through effective maintenance practices and leadership. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems within the facility. Conduct welding tasks and perform residential painting as needed to maintain building aesthetics and safety standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for complex systems repairs or upgrades. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and optimizing facility performance. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals relevant to facility equipment. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs or modifications on various machinery or infrastructure components. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members. Supervising experience is preferred to oversee maintenance projects or teams effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is advantageous. Ability to perform residential painting tasks when necessary to support building upkeep. Customer service orientation to address internal client needs promptly and professionally. Basic understanding of manufacturing environments or large-scale facilities is desirable for optimal performance.
