Job Description
job summary: Large manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their maintenance and engineering team in the Mobile Alabama area. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, optimal performance, and safe operation of all electrical systems and control equipment throughout their facility. The Electrical Engineer will provide expert technical support for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital projects. Relocation provided to qualified candidates.
Develop, implement, and optimize PM programs for critical electrical assets, including motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Propose and implement engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, enhance energy efficiency, and extend asset lifespan.
Provide electrical engineering expertise for capital projects, including design review, equipment specification, installation oversight, and commissioning.
Work closely with Production, Mechanical Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Automation teams to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance.
