GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Provides the initiative, technical ability, and responsibility required to give AECC a well-designed, soundly constructed, and reliably operated generation system.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides electrical engineering designs related to generation and transmission systems, specifies electrical equipment and systems, and supervises installation, startup, and testing of electrical systems. Instrumentation and Control- Designs, specifies, and develops software and hardware for new and replacement plant automated instrumentation and control systems; supervises their installation, start-up, and testing. Protection Controls & Metering
- Develops coordinated protection settings for generators, transformers, and balance-of-plant electrical systems.
- Production Engineering maintain compliance with all applicable NERC and Regulatory Standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineer I- Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineer II
- Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineer III
- Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. SR Engineer
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Driver's license Must meet eligibility requirements to take Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Engineering Intern (E.I.) license- Arkansas, Professional Engineer License

Knowledge of electric power systems desirable. Knowledge of power plant processes desirable. Knowledge of automation controllers and ladder logic desirable.
