Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Electrical Engineer I&T - Level 2 to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The candidate will serve as an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program, requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment. Daily responsibilities may require direct contact with launch vehicle flight hardware and electrical ground support equipment. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. This role is 100% on-site. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Performing hands-on electrical testing at a systems level Developing/maintaining procedures for the assembly and test of launch vehicle systems Incorporating hardware and/or software design changes Documenting & dispositioning hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actions Some planning and scheduling of day-to-day tasks Constant and timely communication with other team members Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport for travel Ability to innovate and lead digital transformation efforts Ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion Ability to work at a fast pace, while multi-tasking, and still communicate effectively Ability to work in a team environment, and lead small projects or teams Ability to travel: Travel expectation 10-20% Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on electrical testing and diagnostic experience Experience with aerospace standards/guidelines Experience with MES, or other digital work instruction platform Experience working with operational hazards such as propulsive devices, pressurized systems, overhead lifting, and high voltage systems Experience performing formal requirements decomposition and/or verification Curious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector?

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range:
$79,300.00 - $118,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
