Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure for a large semiconductor IDM. This role ensures reliable power delivery to critical manufacturing systems by working with switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and generators, and by monitoring performance through SCADA, BMS, and EMS platforms. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime in a high‑availability environment. They will also support electrical system upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards and collaborating closely with operations and maintenance teams. Additional Responsibilities Electrical system upgrades — Plan, scope, and execute infrastructure improvements and capital projects Safety compliance — Maintain adherence to NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and site‑specific safety protocols Power‑quality support — Ensure stable, clean power for semiconductor tools with strict electrical tolerances Predictive maintenance — Implement data‑driven maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime System performance monitoring — Track and analyze electrical system behavior using
SCADA/BMS/EMS
