Engineering Technician Peoria, AZ Job Details Full-time $33 - $45 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Project team coordination Electrical License Construction site inspections Mid-level Electrical systems installation Journeyman Electrician Construction quality control 1 year Construction project closeout Communication skills Construction quality assurance Full Job Description Civiltec Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Observer/Technician to support our electrical engineering team from design phase to construction phase of projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality, compliance, and successful project execution by serving as a key liaison between engineering, project management, and field operations. Key Responsibilities Participate in construction meetings and collaborate closely with project managers and contractors Review and provide feedback on contractor submittals for electrical equipment and instrumentation Evaluate and respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) Conduct site visits and observations to verify compliance with plans and specifications Develop and manage final project punch lists Perform constructability reviews and quality assurance (QA) checks on project plans and specifications Journeyman Electrician Certification (highly preferred) 1-3 years of experience with electrical installations and equipment in industrial or commercial environments Working knowledge of construction processes, electrical systems, and field coordination Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
